.The memorial symposium for 10th anniversary of High-tech Research Center Arrangement Project applied by MOE is held at TTI. Ten years have past at TTI since its High-tech Research Center was applied by MOE in 1997. In the meantime, five centers and six projects were applied and one more center and two projects have just been applied this year. TTI, though small, has been making progress as the base which is developing high lever research for Japanese science and technology.

TTI holds the memorial symposium and introduce the history, future plan and its education at graduate school. Furthermore, we invite three notable professors and get lectures on their latest research results.
