Outline

Developing algorithms to extract and fuse information from multiple resources to achieve a better perception and understanding of the environment or object

The research in this laboratory includes developing techniques to extract information from multiple sensors and sources, and fusing them for an improved detection or perception of the object or environment. Moreover, advancing the technology of signal and image processing, pattern recognition, and machine vision is also the focus of the intelligent information processing laboratory.

Research Themes

Multi-sensor image fusion and fusion performance assessment;
Diagnostics, prognostics, and health management of complex systems;
Information processing and understanding for smart vehicle application;
