Dr. Joo-Young NAM received Ph.D degree in 2001 at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan under the guidance of Professor Takashi INOUE on the ”Thermal Reversibility and Morphology Development of Polymer Crystals by Scattering Analyses”. Following postdoctoral stay for one year in Center for Advanced Functional Polymers of INHA University, he joined with Professor Masami OKAMOTO’s polymer physics group in Toyota Technological Institute, Nagoya, Japan, as a Postdoctoral Fellow. In this period, he is working with Toyota Motor Co. and Toyota Central R&D Labs., Inc. for “Control of Crystallization Rate with Additives in Polylactide”. He is also studying on the “Superstructure and Crystallization Behavior of Various Polymeric Nanocomposites”. At August 2003, he is employed with the manager of Functional Materials Lab. of Central R&D Center to the Dongwoo Fine-Chem Co., Ltd. that was founded with investment of the Sumitomo Co. Ltd. in Korea.
