Positions Post-Doctoral Research Fellow
Number of Positions Available 1 Position
Research Field We are seeking a talented and motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team and contribute to the development and application of state-of-art ultrafast infrared lasers. Our lab has recently developed a number of new ultrafast infrared lasers, including sub-cycle pulse lasers [1] and high energy 2μm femtosecond lasers [2], and we are now applying them to cutting-edge microscopy and optical manipulation techniques such as multi-photon microscopy [3], infrared hyper spectral imaging [4], infrared optical tweezers [5,6]. In addition, we have recently demonstrated a new method to characterize the waveform of synchrotron light [7].

As a postdoctoral researcher in our lab, you will have the opportunity to work on one of several exciting projects,
1) Development of new infrared ultrafast lasers, such as efficient generation of sub-cycle pulses, infrared ultrafast fiber lasers.
2) Application of the new infrared ultrafast lasers in advanced microscopy and optical manipulation.
3) Development of new methods to characterize the waveform of sub-cycle pulses, synchrotron light, or free electron laser pulses.

You will work with a team of experts in ultrafast optics, photonics and laser science, and you will have access to state-of-art equipment and facilities.
